Chuangyongjia South China R&D Center is located in Xiegang Chuangyongjia Industrial Park, Dongguan. It undertakes the construction task of Guangdong Province Modified Engineering Plastics Engineering Technology Research and Development Center, and has also established a CNAS accredited laboratory, focusing on the technical research and performance testing of modified engineering plastics and general plastics. It is a specialized new material research platform integrating formula development, performance verification, and quality control.
Based on the development needs of the modified engineering plastics industry, the laboratory targets the pain points of materials in the new energy, electronic and electrical, and high-end equipment industry chains, and conducts technical research and development around core directions such as material reinforcement and toughening, flame retardant modification, weather resistance improvement, and conductive insulation regulation. It promotes the high-performance of general plastics and the specialization of engineering plastics, and helps downstream components achieve material localization and product upgrading.
The laboratory has established a high standard hardware system and has introduced advanced instruments imported from the United States, Switzerland, and other countries. There are currently more than 100 sets of various testing equipment, covering testing dimensions such as component analysis, thermal performance, mechanical performance, environmental aging resistance, electrical safety, and microscopic morphology observation, forming a complete research and development testing loop for modified plastics.
In the component analysis and thermal performance research section, the laboratory is equipped with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analyzer, thermogravimetric analyzer TGA, differential scanning calorimetry DSC, EDX fluorescence spectrometer, GC-MS gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, capillary rheometer, and melt flow index rate meter to accurately analyze material components, thermal stability characteristics, and melt rheological behavior, providing data basis for formula debugging and processing technology optimization.
The environmental tolerance and electrical safety testing section is equipped with high and low temperature alternating humidity test chambers, xenon lamp weather resistance test chambers, ultraviolet aging test chambers, salt spray test chambers, horizontal and vertical combustion test instruments, hot wire test instruments, and leakage tracing test machines, which can simulate complex working conditions and verify the material's aging resistance, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, and insulation safety performance, meeting the strict industry access standards.
The mechanical, wear-resistant, and physical performance testing equipment is complete, including a micro controlled electronic universal testing machine, a liquid crystal pendulum impact tester, a drop ball impact tester, a TABER wear-resistant testing machine, a plastic Rockwell hardness tester, a photoelectric haze meter, a brittleness temperature meter, a rotorless rheometer, a muffle furnace, and a constant temperature and humidity incubator, to comprehensively evaluate key indicators such as material strength, toughness, wear resistance, and hardness. Relying on the electronic scanning microscope, anime image measuring instrument and volume surface resistivity tester, the micro morphology observation and accurate testing of conductive and insulation characteristics are realized.
Relying on the advantages of the provincial engineering technology research and development center platform and CNAS standardized management system, Chuangyongjia Laboratory adheres to the scientific and rigorous research and development testing concept. Continuously iterating new technologies and formulas for modified plastics, relying on precision instruments to support research and innovation, strictly controlling product quality with reliable testing data, continuously providing customized material solutions for customers, and empowering the high-quality development of the modified engineering plastics industry.
